I recently found a really cool program for my iPhone. It is called Phoozl IQ. It is like a really fun game/quiz for photography. You will not become Chase Jarvis using it, but it will help you hone your skills a bit. I started with the free version. I then tried the paid version after that. There is both an iPhone and iPad version of the program.
The program will ask you a series of questions. Most of them are selecting which photo uses a particular technique, or is an example of something. Some of the questions will show a single photo and give you a question with options for the answer. There are also some questions to help learn hardware terms and such. It is a fun program and for people that are just learning photography it will be a really good way to see if you are getting the concepts. It will also help you to determine places you might want to study up a little bit. I highly recommend the game. It is a fun way to pass some time when sitting in a waiting room or when you need to take a couple minutes break from other tasks.
The author of the game has other photography based games too. I have not had a chance to try any of those yet, but if IQ is any indication, they should be pretty fun. I will definitely be looking at trying out more of his apps.

As a teaser to upcoming blog postings, I am doing a lot with my iPhone. It is a new device for me, having just moved over from a Droid. I am planning a number of blog posts based on it. I am also going to start doing more with video blog postings, and am making plans to start up regular video podcasts too. So stay tuned for more to come!
